This is the second day of our 11.11.11 Illumination preparation.

We will be working with the major chakras along the spine, highlighting one chakra per day. Today we will focus on empowering the Root Chakra. The root chakra is the center where you are connected to your physicality.

Lightwork Exercise – Root Chakra
Imagine a large orb of red light at the base of your spine. Breathe in red light and send it down your spine to the red orb at your root chakra. As you breathe in the light, imagine the red orb growing clearer, brighter, and expanding outward with each breath. Do this for 11 breaths. Then relax into the energy.

You could also do the White Light Visualization from Day 1 (11.1.11) as follows.
Image a sparkling river of pure white light streaming down from the sky above, through the top of your head, through your body, and down through the soles of your feet. As the light flows through you, it will naturally cleanse and illuminate every cell in your body.

What is the Benefit of Illumination?
In practical terms, when you are vibrating at a higher frequency, your body is healthier, you have more vitality, you naturally want to eat a lighter, plant based diet. Your mental and emotional state is more positive, You are able to move through upsets more quickly and effectively. You start to crave a more natural lifestyle. You want to connect with your spiritual self. You see the truth more clearly and how everything works from a spiritual view.

High Vibrational Food
An organic, plant based diet vibrates at a higher frequency, than food that is laden with pesticides or artificial substances or food that derives from animals. When you consume a clean plant based diet, it will naturally elevate your own vibrational frequency. Light is pure vital energy. When we eat plant foods we gain the energy of the light from the sun. Sunlight fuels the growth of plant life and plants convert solar energy into usable fuel for humans and animals.

For now, eat at least one fresh vegetable or fruit a day, preferably organic. Have as much of your produce as you can in it’s fresh raw form. The more fresh organic produce that you consume, the less you will crave overly processed foods. Leafy greens are great for balancing the desire for sugary processed food. And, organic produce really does taste better than conventionally raised produce. Get inspired by visiting the organic produce section in the grocery store or at the local farmer’s market. Open your senses to the beautiful colors and fragrance of vegetables and fruit in their natural state.

Yoga
Yoga practices also align the spine and turn on your spiritual light. A practice that I like do is the Kundalini Yoga Basic Spinal Energy Series.
