Artist Statement

Every artist has a secret place from which they create; we each have an inner studio. This ethereal place is the heart of our private universe, the place where new worlds are born. The drive to create is an inborn impulse that arises in every moment. Those of us who follow this compelling urge travel the unmarked paths of hidden realms. Our adventure is the mystery of Creation. Our creative engagement gives birth to Art.

The last time I painted, I knew little about the invisible world of energy. I stopped painting in the late 90's to embrace the new, global practice of online digital art. Along the way, the heavens opened and showed me the face of death. I was forced to make a choice. I chose to live, and thereby, entered the healer's path of Light. A profound journey ensued. The Universe unveiled her secrets to me and sublime truths were revealed. I learned the art of lightwork, using pure energy to heal. Through higher perception, I could see the invisible workings of subtle energy and the miracles of spiritual healing. All along this transformative venture, my mind imprinted the amazing sights of the invisible world. The remembrance dreams on in my inner studio and now I dream to create.

I return to painting with a passion to convey the immaterial world of Spirit, Energy, and Consciousness into the material world through the creative activity of Art. Once again, I pick up the artist's brush, this time imbued with the light of vital energy. With the wisdom eye of consciousness, I can see the light of energy that flows through me, moves the brush, and flows the light into form. Having travelled the mysterious world of miracles, I can see the sublime effects of the invisible energy of Art. There are higher realms of light and magic that surround our physical world, and this magic  is alive in our world through Art.

The artist's journey is unique for each of us and compels us to see the Truth. Art is a door to the invisible world of Spirit, Energy, and Consciousness. Art transmits profound healing power. The source of Art is the universal energy of spirit that is also the source of healing. Art radiates this healing energy into the world, with the power to effect all who encounter it.

May the light of consciousness fill me and pour love and healing into the world. May this profound illumination uplift the vibrational level of humanity. May the higher vibrational level of humanity raise all consciousness, high above acts of conflict, up to the new world of peace, creativity, love, and light!
